Bollywood Garam: As the beauties from all around the world gather and prepare for the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, India has tied its hopes on the Indian beauty Vasuki Sunkavalli. The Miss Universe pageant will be held in Sao Paolo in Brazil and the 27-year-old beauty from Hyderabad will be representing India.
The 27-year-old model is a lawyer by profession and was crowned as Miss Universe India on the 15th of July 2011 in Mumbai, India. Ushoshi Sengupta had crowned Vasuki at the Miss India contest .
Apart from being a model, Vasuki is also a state level basketball player and a trained dancer. This year, it will be the 60th anniversary of the pageant, which has always chosen the most beautiful women, who have the grace and poise along with brains.
The pageant will be held at the Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo in Brazil on 12th September 2011. The 2010 Miss Universe winner, Ximena Navarrette of Mexico, will be passing on her crown to the next winner at the event. Beauties from 89 countries will be participating at the event. The countries of Zambia and Norway have reportedly withdrawn from the pageant.
