Bollywood Garam: ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ has hit the theatres and is on its way to impress the audience. The movie has been directed by first time director Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar.

The story of the movie is about two brothers Luv and Kush. Luv (Ali Zafar) has just come out of a break-up and has asked his brother Kush, played by Imran Khan, to find an Indian bride for him.

Kush then starts his mission and meets many prospective brides, but does not find a suitable match. This is when he gives in to an advertisement  in the news paper, with an impressive photograph of his brother.

The ad is noticed by a smoker and an ex-lead guitarist in a band who loves to break rules, played by Katrina Kaif. Katrina meets Luv through a video conference set up on Skype after which Luv is bowled by the beauty and boldness of the girl. The twist comes when Imran ends up liking the girl that he had chosen for his brother. Seems like the makers haven’t worked well on the story line, but it is a thumbs up in terms of entertainment, which is what the audience demands.

Katrina seems refreshing in the bad girl role, and Imran too does a great job. But the story line is a bit too common and offers nothing new to viewers.
