Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was on the day of her baby shower was blessed by several female celebrity guests at the Bachchan residence in Mumbai on 18th October. Actresses like Asha Parekh, Saira Banu, Dimple Kapadia and also Neetu Lulla who had designed the wedding outfit for Ash had blessed the to-be mother.
The whole house was decorated with flowers and celebrities started pouring in the afternoon. According to the eye witnesses, the ‘Taal’ actress, who is eight months pregnant, was wearing an orange Indian outfit for the occasion and had a glow on her face.
Actress Saira Banu said that she looked beautiful and had wished the to-be parents all the best. Popular Choreographer Saroj Khan, who was also present at the occasion had said that she had never seen so many celebrity women together.
Khan said that Jaya Bachchan had welcomed each guest personally and was very warm. Daughter Shweta Bachchan had also personally attended all the guests, Khan added. The veteran choreographer also said that Ash looked pretty in orange and was decorated with ‘mogra’ flowers. The to-be father Abhishek also looked extremely happy. Ash’s make-up for the occasion was looked after the make up artist Micky Contractor. Some of the other guests for the occasion included, Twinkle Khanna, Urmila Matondkar, Maanayata Dutt, Sonali Bendre, Ritu Nanda, Neetu Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Vaibhavi Merchant, Karan Johar and many more.
