Actress Chitrangada Singh might not be new to Bollywood, but has lately found her actual space in the industry. Singh is now all set to spread her magic with the upcoming movie ‘Desi Boyz’ opposite John Abraham and Akshay Kumar.
Chitrangada was earlier seen in the movie ‘Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi’ which is a part of the parallel cinema. The movie ‘Desi Boyz’ will now show a whole new side of the actress and it is up to the audience to decide if they would accept the actress in her new avatar.
Singh said that she needed to take a break and do a lighter role and was absolutely surprised to do a lighter role of Tanya. The actress is now days full of offers and does not have enough time for other projects.
The actress has also shot for the movie ‘I Me Aur Main’ and also did her first item song in the movie ‘Joker’ by Shirish Kunder. With an item song the actress has broken the usual trend of the item songs by the same old actresses. However, Singh has earlier rejected many of the important roles that were offered to her like the female lead in the ‘Krrish’ sequel and also the lead in the ‘Race’ sequel.
