Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, was recently offered the role of Briseis in an upcoming Hollywood movie opposite Brad Pitt. But the movie offer, made by two-time Oscar nominated director Wolfgang Petersen, was turned down by the actress.
The character in question is supposed to be extremely good looking due to which the director was looking for someone very beautiful. But Ash refused the offer politely and the role was then bagged by Rose Byrne.
Actor Brad Pitt played the role of Achilles in the biggest Hollywood grosser ‘Troy’. It was indeed a challenging role but it is still not known why Aishwarya rejected the role.
However, Ash has taken a taste of Hollywood in many of the movies like ‘The Pink Panther 2’, ‘The Last Legion’, ‘The Mistress Of Spices’ and ‘Provoked’. The actress is considered as one of the most popular actresses and was recently criticised for her weight gain. Ash, her husband Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter ‘Beti B’ were recently visited by the international talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. It is likely that the whole Bachchan family might appear in the new series of Winfrey’s show. Ash has also been a regular face of the Cannes film festival.
