Actress Prachi Desai, has in recent times come a long way since her TV stint with the series ‘Kasamh Se’ in the year 2006. Unlike most of the actresses, who boast about their achievements, Prachi has been quietly signing films opposite some of the big names in Bollywood.
Desai is working in big projects opposite some of the big actors like John Abraham in ‘I, Me Aur Hum’ and with Abhishek Bachchan in the movie ‘Bol Bachchan’. And now the actress will also be seen opposite the most eligible bachelor in Bollywood Shahid Kapoor in ‘Teri Meri Kahani’.
The director of the film Kunal Kohli said that he cast Prachi as he liked her performance in ‘Rock On!!’ and ‘One Upon A Time In Mumbai’. While talking about her role Kohli revealed that she plays the role of an independent and progressive girl from the 60s and is also a point of conflict between Shahid and Priyanka Chopra.
The film maker also said that her role will definitely make her notice in the movie as she has some of the most entertaining and romantic scenes in the flick. Even ‘Bol Bachchan’ director Rohit Shetty said that Prachi is extremely talented as well as sincere.
