Shahrukh Khan travels by train
Superstar Shahrukh Khan is leaving no stone un-turned to promote his upcoming movie ‘Raees’. Khan boarded the August Kranti Rajdhani Express from the Mumbai Central railway station for Delhi on January 23, 2017. The actor will be promoting his movie in the Capital. The railway platform saw thousands of fans at the station who were there to catch a glimpse of the star.
Shahrukh waved to his fans as he boarded the train. The actor interacted with the media at his residence at Mannat in Mumbai before leaving for the promotions. Khan shared, “I came to Mumbai for the first time by train. It’s a 16-17 hour journey so I am very excited and nervous as I am travelling by train after a very long time. I had gone with my kids two-three times before but this one will also be fun as the whole ‘Raees’ team is with us.”
The ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor also shared his experiences in the past and revealed that he had travelled to Taj Mahal by train with his first salary. The actor also shared that when he was travelling to Mumbai, he did not know that the reserved coach turns in to local when it arrives in the outskirts of the city. Shahrukh shared, “I didn’t know that we were supposed to share our seats although I had reserved a berth and was scolded.”
The ‘Ra.One’ actor also remembered that he had travelled a lot in train while he was shooting for the movie ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’. Shahrukh was asked about the expectations from his fans to which he answered that he is not nervous and that he is confident of the content as it has popular masala and substance and is a new kind of movie that he hopes the audience enjoys.
