Sidharth Malhotra as brand ambassador of Tourism New Zealand
Actor Sidharth Malhotra is not just a rising star in Bollywood, but is also the brand ambassador for Tourism New Zealand. The brand ambassador along with Steven Dixon, the regional manager South and South East Asia, unveiled a new video featuring the ‘Student of the Year’ actor at an event in Mumbai on January 24, 2017.
The video has shown Sidharth’s latest experiences in New Zealand. Apart from the video, a preview was also presented about the 100% Pure New Zealand campaign which is all set to launch on February 1, 2017 and also features Sidharth. He was on an enthralling trip to the island nation and experienced plenty of adventure, culture and food through Rotorua, Auckland, Hamilton Waikato and Christchurch and Canterbury regions. The actor also visited the famous Hagley Oval cricket ground and played cricket with Stephen Fleming and Brendon McCullum.
The video has also shown Sidharth’s helicopter ride with the former All Blacks rugby veteran Richie McCaw. Sidharth also gave a shot to some of the adventure activities like luge riding, Auckland bridge climb, jet boat and ziplining. During the event Sidharth was put on a quiz about New Zealand. Malhotra while talking about his experiences said, “New Zealand never ceases to amaze me. My recent trip there was truly rewarding with so many unforgettable experiences from meeting my rugby idol, Richie McCaw to visiting The Hobbit movie set, every bit of it was thrilling.”
The actor added that the island nation is always a treat for the eyes with its captivating landscapes and panoramic views. On the work front, the actor was last seen in the movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ opposite Katrina Kaif and is currently working on his upcoming project ‘Reloaded’. The movie is directed by Raj and D.K. and is scheduled to be released in August, 2017.
