Rakhi Sawant urges for high security before appearing at the Ludhiana court
Controversial Bollywood personality Rakhi Sawant hit the headlines recently over her arrest reports. An arrest warrant was reportedly issued against the actress by a local court in Ludhiana over her controversial remarks against the sage Valmiki in 2016. Later, reports had claimed that though the local Punjab police has traveled to Mumbai, the actress wasn’t arrested. But Rakhi Sawant’s publicist had informed that it was she who had surrendered to the police. While there were a number of conflicting reports from different media outlets, the actress finally called for a press conference in Mumbai to clear things over the matter today, April 6.
Rakhi, during her interaction with the media, once and for all clarified that she had apologized over the Valmiki controversy a year ago to the sage’s bhakts, but they had spoken very rudely to her in return. The actress added that her bail has not been filed and will only appear before the Ludhiana court after she is granted high security. Rakhi also requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help her in this difficult situation.
The reality star, while explaining about the entire controversy, explained that she was giving an example of Valmiki for her best friend, Mika Singh. The Main Hoon Na actress added that she initially had problems with Mika but now they are ok with each other. Rakhi, who was seen in a red pants and a skin colored top, said that she is an Indian girl and does not understand why people are trying to fine her or trying to ask her what happened all the way back in 2016.
Finally, the item girl of Bollywood concluded that her mother has suffered a heart attack due to all these controversies and that all these things are affecting her career and family. A while back, she had also tried her hand in politics but stepped down as she could not find enough support for her party.
