Sri Lankan cricketer, Sanath Jayasuriya has been eliminated from the fifth season of the TV reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’. The cricketer expressed that he had a great time and was overwhelmed by the whole experiences.
Sanath said that he had almost developed a cold feet when he thought of shaking a leg in front of the Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit. But the cricketer has now returned to his country with some happy memories and hopes to return to India soon.
Sanath said, “The show is completely different from what I do in life but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The contestants are talented and hard working.” The cricketer also said that the three judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza were really warm towards him.
In one of the episodes, Dixit had requested the legendary cricketer to sing a few lines from a Sinhalese song. And in return Sanath asked the actress to match steps with him on a Sri Lankan dance in another episode of the show. Madhuri even taught him a few steps of classical dance. The actress was generous towards Sanath while giving him points and was referred as ‘Sir’ by the judges Karan and Remo. The cricketer also managed to do the popular snake dance on the show.
